1.1. Begin by locating the Start button on your desktop. Give it a right-click. You'll usually find it at the bottom left corner of your screen.
1.2. A menu will pop up. Look for the "Search" option and click on it. This will open up a search bar where you can type in your queries.
1.3. In the search bar, type "Windows Firewall" and hit Enter. This will direct you to the Windows Firewall settings,
1.4. Click on "Windows Firewall" from the search results to access your computer's security settings. Then click on "Advanced settings"
1.5. Click on "Inbound Rules" under "Advanced Settings" on the left-hand side.
1.6. Select "Port" option and then proceed by clicking "Next".
1.7. Select either TCP or UDP, choose "specific local ports", enter a port number, and click "Next" button.
1.8. Click on the option that says, 'Allow the connection' and then proceed by clicking on the 'Next' button.
1.9. Click on Profile and select "Domain", "Private", or "Public". Then click the "Next" button.
1.10. Click on “Name” and type a name for the rule . Then click on the "Finish" button.
