How to set up an auto responder in cPanel Webmail

An auto responder automatically replies to incoming emails with a predefined message. This is useful for out of office notices holiday messages or general acknowledgements. You can configure an auto responder directly from cPanel Webmail without needing access to the full cPanel interface.

 

How to add an auto responder using cPanel Webmail

 

Log in to cPanel Webmail


Open your web browser and navigate to https://webmail.yourdomain.com

Sign in using your full email address and email password.

 

Access the Out of Office settings
Once logged in click on Settings and then select Out of Office as shown below.

Configure your auto responder
Enter your auto response message choose the appropriate start and end dates if required and review the remaining settings.

Save your changes
Click Save once you have completed the configuration to activate the auto responder.

The auto responder will now automatically reply to incoming emails until it is disabled or the end date is reached.
